These vintage feed sacks came to us from an Estate Auction.  They are all opened and laundered in preparation for use as fabric.  The original feedsack stitching holes are clearly visible.  Very few stains, minimum of holes, and in very good condition.  All measure 36" from selvage to selvage, and approximately 42" long (21" folded).  All are 50-lb bag size.

This vintage fabric IS by South Sea Imports. The information on the end of the bolt includes “SOUTH SEA IMPORTS”, “MUMMS THE WORD”, “100% COTTON”, “44/45 WIDE”, “RN 76390”, “Q 1622”, “PATT 25028”, and “COLOR 392”. The information on the selvage edge of the fabric includes “MUMMS THE WORD BY DEBBIE MUMM FOR SSI”. The dominant color is a medium red, and the pattern consists of small standing blackbirds spaced evenly and rotated in different positions. The dominant colors are white and brown, and the pattern consists of a repeating pattern of a Mariner’s Compass surrounded by the words “NEW WORLD DISCOVERY 1492 – 1992” and “QUINCENTENNIAL”.
