This machine recently arrived from a Yardsale, and has not been looked at or serviced. It is shown here after receiving it's initial Singer Sewing Machine Oil "Bath" to begin its rehabilitation, but it needs more cleaning after it soaks. The machine, made by the Free SM Co, is designed to do a straight stitch. Front slide plate and original spool pin are missing. Shuttle & bobbin are present. "Rotoscillo Movement" mechanism operates freely. Bobbin winder still needs to be unstuck and the tension assembly needs cleaned. Matching treadle stand not included with machine head. The machine is dirty, but the mechanism still moves fairly freely. I believe that this machine is referred to as a "High Arm" Davis Vertical Feed machine, number 4. It has no feeddogs, using a walking foot to feed the fabric through the machine. See also photo 6.
