Used Attachments & Accessories

This Singer Buttonholer is for the Singer Lockstitch family of sewing machines.  It comes complete with box, feeddog plate and screw, and instruction booklet.

This Greist Products Rotary Buttonholer set appears to be complete as issued in this set.  I don't have a model number.  The unit has not been tested for functionality.

This Singer Automatic Zigzagger appears to be complete, and the box appears to include additional parts not associated with the zigzagger.  The Zigzagger is a different model than the box.  I need more information on what attachments came in this box to verify authenticity.

This set of Speed Snips is in excellent condition, and appears to be complete except for the missing "quilt gauge" that may have been included in this set.  The motor runs smoothly and the scissors cut well.

Vintage British Made Needlelite sewing machine motor by Carter Electrical Co. LTD., foot control, and cords. This unit is one of the earlier upgrade kits to convert treadle power sewing machines to electrical power. The 220 volt motor supplies power to the sewing machine via a drive belt, and has a light on the end to illuminate the needle area. This motor and foot control both have the black textured “Wrinkle” finish on them, but much of the paint has come off of the motor and continues to slough off as it’s handled. There is minimal paint loss on the foot control. The sewing machine that it was mounted on did not have a Wrinkle finish, but a Japanned (smooth) finish instead. The cording is old, has electrical repair tape on it, and should be carefully inspected or replaced prior to use. I did not check these items for operation. 

Used metal industrial sewing machine slide-out drawer and attachment rails. This is old factory equipment, used, and in good condition. I found it at a surplus yard on a water damaged presswood industrial stand. There was a lingerie factory and bra factory in the area several years ago, so it could have come from either one of them. This is an enamel coated metal drawer and plastic rails. There is only minor paint-loss and rust to the drawer, with a few minor wear marks from use. The inside dimensions of the drawer are 13 1/2” long, 5 3/4” wide, and 3” deep. The brown plastic rails are 12 1/4” long and just under 3/4” wide, with 3 attachment screw holes in each. The drawer could be attached to the underside of about any stand, cabinet, work station, or workbench where a slide-out drawer is needed. 

Vintage Domestic Sewing Machine empty attachments box. The box is green and white “marbled” plastic 2-piece with a top half that slides down over the bottom half. The box measures 5 1/2” long x 2 7/8” wide x 1 3/4” high. The word “Domestic” in script text is molded into the center of the top cover. Originally, it housed an attachment set for a Domestic model sewing machine, but there are no attachments included. The bottom section has three compartments for holding various attachments. This box is used and has worn and/or dirty spots from previous use, but there are no cracks. 

Vintage black metal Sewing Machine empty attachments box. The box is black metal with no inserts that are common to this type of old box. The box measures 6 1/2” long x 3” wide x 2” high. The word “ATTACHMENTS” in block text is barely visible across the center of the top. Originally, it housed an attachment set for a sewing machine, but there are no attachments included. This box is used and has worn and/or dirty spots from previous use, but there are no major dings or breaks. The hinges are secure and in good working order. It’s a nice little box to compliment your sewing machine, or use for any number of things where small items need to be captured in a container.
